Animal Portraits

We have always had pets in the family. When I think back, I used to doodle their faces on my school books and include them in my school work! More recently I have done portraits mainly using pastels. They are all commissioned pieces either for a gift or a forever memory to have at home. I have done all kinds of animals including a tortoise, sheep, goat, horse, guinea pig, cat, dog... please ask. All I need is a collection of photographs.

There is something special to me as I see the portrait take shape on the paper and I do the eyes last, not sure why, always have. The eyes bring them to life.
